Amazing weekend meeting wonderful customers.
We thought it might be fun to take our maps so they could be viewed up close and the reaction was quite frankly overwhelming. Time and time again people would stop and say "Wow!". It was so nice talking to so many people of all ages (from 10 up to 80 plus) about their fell adventures.
Plus, as it was a Christmas fair we thought we'd make some Christmas decorations and gifts. Very glad we did as we nearly sold them all!
Best moments from the weekend were:
The lady in her 70s who was going to buy a large map for her friend and then said "sod that, i'm keeping it for myself!"
The lady who said i'll have to convince my husband. 6 minutes later she walks up to the stand and says "I won, I'll take a large map please"
The chap who walked up, stared at the map for 30 seconds and said "I'll have one please"
